About This Course
This course is tailored to help students excel in all aspects of the Leaving Certificate exam through focused revision, skill-building, and exam strategy. The course covers the four key competencies: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Students practice a wide range of comprehension texts and audio exercises, with strategies to improve vocabulary, grammar, and understanding of tone and nuance. Special attention is given to written production, including opinion pieces, diary entries, and formal letters, with structured feedback to improve expression and accuracy. The oral exam, worth 25%, is a major focus - students receive one-on-one practice for general conversation and role-plays, building fluency and confidence. The course also reinforces key grammar topics and idiomatic expressions essential for top grades. Through personalised guidance and exam-focused preparation, this course equips students with the tools and confidence needed to perform at their best in Higher Level French.
Fees & Cancellation Policy
Fees: - €26.45/week for a first subject. - €20.55/week for additional subjects (including siblings). Joining: - New students can join weekly grinds at any stage throughout the year, however, we recommend joining as close to the start date as possible for greatest results. - If a course is displaying as full - a waiting list applies. You will need to contact our office to be placed on a waiting list for the class. - Once you have booked your course/s through this site, we will contact you by phone to request payment. Alternatively, you can book by calling our office. Payment Options: - In full before commencement. - Monthly by standing order. - You will only be charged for any remaining classes in a course.
