About This Course
Weekly Grinds Schedule (new students welcome at any time): - Term 1: Monday the 31st of August – Sunday the 25th of October (8 weeks). - Term 2: Monday the 2nd of November – Tuesday the 22nd of December (8 weeks). - Term 3: Wednesday the 6th of January – Sunday the 14th of February (5 weeks). - Term 4: Monday the 22nd of February – Sunday the 21st of March (4 weeks). - Term 5: Monday the 5th of April – Sunday the 6th of June (9 weeks). * In the event that the Academy must reschedule a class, it will run on the same day and at the same time during the next available school break. These can include October mid-term, Christmas, February mid-term, and Easter breaks. Topics Covered & General Information: This course is designed to support and enhance students’ understanding of the core areas of the exam while building confidence and improving performance. The course covers the three key components: Paper 1 (Language & Composition) and Paper 2 (Literature). In Paper 1, students develop their comprehension and functional writing skills through guided practice with unseen texts and tailored feedback on writing tasks such as speeches, opinion pieces, and personal essays. For Paper 2, the course offers in-depth analysis of the single text, structured support for the comparative study, and expert guidance on approaching both prescribed and unseen poetry. Emphasis is placed on exam techniques, essay planning, and developing a personal, informed writing style. This course provides focused, interactive lessons and individual support to help students excel in both their written expression and literary analysis. Pricing: Weekly grinds cost €28/week for a first subject and €21/week for additional subjects. This is billed monthly by standing order. These prices include full StudySphere membership for the year. StudySphere Membership: Included in this course is full access to StudySphere - our Maths eLearning platform which provides additional worked examples, exam questions (past and sample), solutions and videos to help to support you on your maths journey this year.
Fees & Cancellation Policy
Fees: - €28/week for a first subject. - €21/week for additional subjects (including siblings). Joining: - New students can join weekly grinds at any stage throughout the year, however, we recommend joining as close to the start date as possible for greatest results. - If a course is displaying as full - a waiting list applies. You will need to contact our office to be placed on a waiting list for the class. - Once you have booked your course/s through this site, we will contact you by phone to arrange payment. Alternatively, you can book by calling our office. Payment Options: - In full before commencement. - Monthly by standing order (final payment due before the end of March 2027). - You will only be charged for any remaining classes in a course.
