About This Course
Topics Covered: - Unit 1 The Study of Life. - Unit 2 The Cell. - Unit 3 The Organism. This course explores the science of life through three main units: The Study of Life, The Cell, and The Organism. Students will begin by learning about the scientific method, the characteristics of life, and ecological principles such as food chains and nutrient cycles. They then delve into cell biology, examining cell structure, metabolism (including respiration and photosynthesis), and genetics, with a focus on DNA, inheritance patterns, and genetic engineering. Finally, the course covers the structure and function of organisms, including the classification of life forms, plant biology (transport, reproduction), and detailed human systems such as digestion, circulation, respiration, the nervous system, and reproduction.
Fees & Cancellation Policy
Fees: - €26.45/week for a first subject. - €20.55/week for additional subjects (including siblings). Joining: - New students can join weekly grinds at any stage throughout the year, however, we recommend joining as close to the start date as possible for greatest results. - If a course is displaying as full - a waiting list applies. You will need to contact our office to be placed on a waiting list for the class. - Once you have booked your course/s through this site, we will contact you by phone to request payment. Alternatively, you can book by calling our office. Payment Options: - In full before commencement. - Monthly by standing order. - You will only be charged for any remaining classes in a course.
